In June 1996 the Kennel Club Friesland organized a special Yearling Dog Show. Fay was placed third of all breeds in the junior class at the age of 11 months. Mrs. E. Bons -de Wever wrote:

"Bitch of almost one year old. A good type Blue Merle, good teeth, nice head, good expression, carried her ears well, good body, good tail carriage, nice coat, good movement, she has to settle on the move."

Together with Mrs. J.M. Schmal-Teunissen she did the awarding.
